Do you charge for estimates?
No. Every heat-loss calculation, system design, and quote is done free of charge — for a repair, a replacement, or a new installation. We'd rather size it correctly up front than have you live with a system that can't keep up.
How do you determine what size furnace, boiler, or AC unit I need?
We run an actual heat-loss (or cooling load) calculation for your home or building rather than relying on rules of thumb. Oversized and undersized systems are the most common cause of comfort problems and high energy bills, so getting this right is the most important part of any installation.
My system heats or cools unevenly, or short-cycles — what causes that?
Uneven comfort and short-cycling are usually signs of an incorrectly sized system, restricted airflow, or a failing component. We diagnose the actual cause rather than just resetting the system, so the fix holds.
